Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital

Dr. Reno has happily owned Virginia Parkway Pet Hospital since 2013. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She has also been an active member of the veterinary industry since 1994 as a doctor, technician, and receptionist. Her medical interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dermatology, and pain management.  

She was raised in the Lakewood area of Dallas and has lived in the surrounding areas most of her life. Andrew is her amazing son who loves theatre, reading, animals, and Pokemon. The rest of the family includes rescues Merida (Dachshund), Ruby (Dachshund), Mollie (Pembroke Welsh Corgi), Maple (Pembroke Welsh Corgi), and Starla (French Bulldog). She enjoys reading, Bible study, horses, hiking and camping. 

She is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and Collin County Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Peña has been with VPPH since 2018. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He also obtained a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Texas at Austin in 1987, and a Bachelors of Science from Texas A&M University in 1988. After graduating from vet school, he then completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Dr. Pena has lived and worked in the DFW area since 1993. Dr. Peña’s interests include internal medicine, orthopedics, dentistry, and pain management. He enjoys cycling in addition to spending time with his two children.
